Clear-thinking Utter is a team player

Regarding the Lynnwood mayoral election, I believe that Lisa Utter would be the premium candidate for mayor of Lynnwood. I have known Lisa for several years now, having met her on a volunteer project with Habitat for Humanity.

I am a local small-business owner (general contractor). During our projects together, I have come to know Lisa as clear-thinking and persevering in working together to accomplish the goals at hand. Her ability to work with various people at different levels and paces demonstrated to me that she has the necessary skills to be a leader with the people of Lynnwood.

Her stances on the environment, public safety and services give me confidence that the city can move in a more positive direction.

I have had many discussions with Lisa about the complications of being a small-business owner and she understands the need for realistic regulations that support local business growth and do not hinder it.

It is my hope that the people of Lynnwood will come to know her as I do, as a positive and powerful influence.
