Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 270 calls the week of Aug. 20 to 26.
Aug. 20
37 calls — 31 emergency medical aid calls, two fires, two motor vehicle collisions, one hazardous materials response, and one fire alarm.
At 8:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a car fire in the 100 block of 203rd Place SW.
Aug. 21
31 calls — 24 emergency medical aid calls, three fires, one motor vehicle collision, two service calls and one fire alarm.
At 5:50 a.m., firefighters responded to a car fire in the 16300 block of East Shore Drive.
Aug. 22:
38 calls — 29 emergency medical aid calls, one motor vehicle collision, two fires, four service calls and two fire alarms.
At 6:22 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire at a home in the 4400 block of 150th St. SW. The tri-level house was engulfed in flames when they arrived. Four people and three dogs safely exited the house. There were no injuries.
At 7:53 a.m. firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a collision involving two motorcycles in the 6700 block of 235th St. SW.
At 5:27 p.m., an 8-year-old boy who fell off a 15-foot zip line at a home in Brier was transported by firefighters to Harborview Medical Center.
Aug. 23
46 calls — 33 emergency medical aid calls, one motor vehicle collision, one technical rescue, seven fires, one service call, one natural gas leak and two fire alarms.
At 3:47 p.m., firefighters responded to a barbecue fire at a home in the 11700 block of Possession Lane. The fire caused minor damage to windows and some plastic roofing,
At 8:23 p.m., firefighters responded a cooking fire that was confined to the stovetop at a home in the 14100 block of Ash Way.
Aug. 24
44 calls — 39 emergency medical aid calls, three motor vehicle collisions, one fire and one fire alarm.
At 11:13 a.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a collision involving two pickup trucks at 164th Street Southwest and 36th Avenue West.
At 3 p.m., firefighters responded to a four-car collision in the 2900 block of 164th St. SW. Two patients were taken by ambulance to Swedish Hospital.
At 6:54 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett after responding to a two-car collision at 164th Street Southeast and Third Avenue Southeast.
Aug. 25:
35 calls — 27 emergency medical aid calls, four motor vehicle collisions, one fire, two service calls and one fire alarm.
At 4:55 p.m., firefighters took an infant to Stevens Hospital after responding to a collision on northbound I-5 south of 44th Avenue West.
At 5:51 p.m., a boy was hit by a car at 128th Street Southwest and Airport Road. He was transported by firefighters to Harborview Medical Center.
At 8:33 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a collision involving a car and a semi-truck on northbound I-5 south of 220th Street SW.
Aug. 26: 39 calls — 28 emergency medical aid calls, five fires, four motor vehicle collisions, one service call and one fire alarm.
At 3:54 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett after responding to a two-car collision at Lincoln Way and SR 525.
