Prep swimming: Marysville-Pilchuck’s Taylor shines

BAINBRIDGE — Marysville-Pilchuck’s Hannah Taylor had two state qualifying times at the Spartan Relay Invitational on Saturday.
Taylor, a sophomore, swam the 800 meter freestyle opening leg (200 meters) in 1 minute 59 seconds as well as a 100 meter freestyle in 55.32 seconds at the 25-year-old annual relay invite hosted by Bainbridge High School.
The final team scores for the event were: Bainbridge 58, Marysville-Pilchuck 50, Sehome 36, Camas 28 and Central Kitsap 28.
