EVERETT — Jackson’s Cara Wegner headed in a ball that had deflected off the crossbar to score the lone goal of the Wesco 4A game. In the 67th minute Danae Fitz took a shot off a free kick that Monroe (6-4 league, 7-4 overall) goalkeeper Lynzee Felder knocked into the crossbar. It bounced off the top of the goal and went right to Wegner, who put it into the back of the net. KC Wilson earned the shutout in goal for the Timberwolves (6-4, 6-5-1).
