Community losing an important voice

The Enterprise has been one of the main ways all of us in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park have talked with one another. It has kept us informed about the really important things in our community — the people, politics, arts, sports, events — they’ve covered it all. We will miss The Enterprise terribly.

The Enterprise has also allowed me to communicate easily with the residents of the 32nd District. Town hall meetings, issues before the Legislature or the voters — the Enterprise has spread the word. Without the Enterprise, I am very concerned about keeping citizens informed about critical issues before the Legislature. I encourage residents to send me an e-mail so they can be added to my contact list and receive e-mail updates. My e-mail address is Kagi.ruth@leg.wa.gov. Just put something like “stay in touch” in the subject line. Your privacy is protected by state law, which prohibits e-mails obtained for legislative business from being used for campaigns or unofficial business.

It is hard to say goodbye to the Enterprise. Thank you for all you have done to educate us, keep us informed and make us laugh.

Rep. Ruth Kagi
