Published 7:59 pm Wednesday, November 10, 2010
The Seattle International Comedy Competition, now celebrating its 31st year, has grown from humble beginnings to a touring festival with 23 shows in 26 days in 17 different venues throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Hundreds of comedians from around the country audition each year, but just 32 are chosen.
Check out one of the semi-final rounds in Edmonds. It’s a comedy show, so be prepared for off-color and adult-style material. Finalists have not been determined.
The fun begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N.
Tickets are $15 to $30 at www.ec4arts.org.
