SEATTLE — The state Health Department says it found no deficiencies at Seattle Children’s Hospital in three recent investigations.

But investigations of nurses and other health care providers involved in the cases are still under way.

The department said Wednesday its review of the hospital found that it has effective, adequate systems in place to prevent patient harm.

The three investigations covered a baby who died in the intensive care unit after a drug overdose, a toddler who suffered brain damage after a heart procedure, and an adult who had medication misapplied during an emergency room visit. The adult recovered.
