Mukilteo-Clinton ferry service disrupted

MUKILTEO — Ferry service was disrupted for several hours Sunday on the Mukilteo to Clinton run.
The Chelan was taken out of service for most of the day so crews could make repairs to the vessel, Washington State Ferries said.
That left one ferry, the Cathlamet, to handle the weekend commuters. Traffic backed up in Clinton, with drivers facing a wait of at least one hour in the early evening, Washington State Ferries said. The wait was shorter in Mukilteo.
Both ferries were operating by 4 p.m.
