Prep boys basketball: Shorecrest 45, Oak Harbor 44 (OT)

SHORELINE — Oak Harbor had the ball with a chance to win in overtime but couldn’t finish as Shorecrest won the Wesco 3A game. Ryan Canfield’s bucket in overtime gave the Scots a four-point lead but Oak Harbor’s Mike Washington Jr. made a 3-pointer to get his team within one. Shorecrest failed to score on the ensuing possession, giving Oak Harbor a final look. Keith Shattuck scored 17 points and Trevor McCoy scored 16 for Shorecrest. Washington had 20 points and Stevie Bratt scored 12 for Oak Harbor.
