When you’ve got money, you’ve got lots of friends: Even through it’s not officially a publicly traded company, Facebook has raised $1 billion from investors, giving the social network an estimated value of $50 billion. Facebook has not announced what it might do with all that capital.
With $50 billion, everybody on Facebook ought to be able to sell their FarmVille farms and retire to FloridaVille.

Yo quiero “Snooki”: Taco Bell has pulled its ads from the new MTV teen drama “Skins” after critics accused the show of glamorizing promiscuous sex, drug use and drinking.
Instead, Taco Bell is shifting its ads to more wholesome fare on MTV like “Jersey Shore.”

Never say “Smile” to a crocodile: A 14-year-old crocodile swallowed a cell phone whole when a woman at a Kiev, Ukraine, aquarium dropped her phone attempting to get a photo of the reptile. Animal keepers were skeptical until they heard the phone ringing from inside the croc.
Unfortunately for the crocodile, it hasn’t eaten in four weeks and is listless, but it’s probably just trying to avoid any roaming charges.
