LAKE STEVENS — Lake Stevens turned up the pressure in the second quarter with a full-court, trapping defense and outscored Cascade 26-3 in the period en route to the first-round win in the 4A District 1 tournament. The Vikings, who were led in scoring by Mahea Puha (11 points), Abby Molstre (10) and Brooke Pahukoa (12), had 23 steals in the game. Kiana Hood scored 13 of Cascade’s 14 points.
