Prep swimming: 3A District 1 prelims

ANACORTES — Led by Thor Stenfjord and Mackey Hopen, Shorewood swimmers qualifided first in six events. Stenfjord was first in the 200-yard individual medley and 500 freestyle. Hopen was first in the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. Both swam on the first-place 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams. Other top qualifiers from Wesco included Kyle Christenson of Glacier Peak in the 200 freestyle, Price Hu of Oak Harbor in the 100 butterfly, Carter Osborne of Shorecrest in the 100 freestyle, Jacob Jepsen of Oak Harbor in the 100 backstroke and the Shorecrest 400 freestyle relay team.
