The senior forward helped his team reach the 3A state quarterfinals by scoring a team-high 18 points and combining on a steal with teammate Dylan Vargas, who went on to make two free throws with 13 seconds remaining to secure a 50-49 victory over Hazen

The senior forward/center helped her team win three straight loser-out games to reach the 4A state quarterfinals. Donaldson scored 10 points (eight in the fourth quarter) of a 58-44 win over Eastlake. She had a game-high 20 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and one steal while shooting 8-for-12 from the field and 4-for-4 from the free-throw line in a 52-34 win over 2010 state champion Auburn Riverside. And she had 10 points, eight rebounds and three assists in a 53-48 overtime win over Kentwood.
