Prep softball: Meadowdale 10, Edmonds-Woodway 1

EDMONDS — Meadowdale pitcher Kylie Studioso pitched a complete game, giving up only one earned run on three hits as the Mavericks beat Edmonds-Woodway 10-1 on Monday afternoon.
Studioso finished the game with 20 strikeouts and gave up just three walks to pick up her first victory of the season.
Offensively for Meadowdale (1-0 overall), Studioso went 2-for-4 with one RBI and Lily Paschal was 3-for-4 with three runs. Meadowdale also got contributions from Shannon Haukap, who was 2-for-4 with three runs, and Alyssa Reuble, who went 2-for-4, scored two runs and knocked in two more.
Meadowdale finished the game with 11 hits. Edmonds-Woodway (0-1) had just three. The Warriors committed five errors in the game.
