Prep boys soccer: Meadowdale 2, Everett 1 (shootout)

BOTHELL — Meadowdale fell behind in the first half of the Wesco 3A game when Everett (0-1 league, 0-2 overall) scored in the 38th minute, but Tristan Springer (EJ Bushnell assist) found the equalizer in the 60th minute. Both teams held on for the remainder of regulation and overtime before the Mavs prevailed on penalty kicks. Patrick Gove manned the nets for Meadowdale (1-0, 2-0).
