LAKE STEVENS — Makinlee Sellevold (1-0) gave up a run in the first but shut down the Vikings the rest of the way in the first game of the year for both teams. A three-run second inning was all the Bruins needed, but Cascade tacked on two more in the sixth. Maggie McCrory (1-0) took the loss for the Vikings, who committed four errors.
