Prep baseball: Kamiak 13, Lakeside 1

LAKESIDE — Kamiak won on the 10-run rule after scoring nine runs in the fifth inning. Seth Heck was 2-3 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored for Kamiak (1-0). Alex Schmidt added a double and Jacob Bettencourt a triple for the Knights. Three Kamiak pitchers limited Lakeside to just three hits in the game. Ian Davidson (1-0) pitched two innings with two strikeouts to pick up the win.
