Prep softball: Meadowdale 3, Shorecrest 1

SHORELINE — Alyssa Reuble and Kylee Studiso combined on a three-hitter to lead Meadowdale to the Wesco 3A win. Reuble pitched the first three innings and Studiso pitched the final four, striking out 10. The Mavericks (1-0, 1-3) scored twice in the third inning. Amanda Hartley pitched the first five innings and hit a double for Shorecrest (0-1, 1-3).
