EVERETT — Edmonds-Woodway’s Ryan Budnick (3-0) pitched a steady six innings, giving up two runs while striking out six in the Wesco South matchup. Derek Callahan went 2-for-5 with a triple and Austin Jones was 3-for-4 with two runs and three RBI to lead Edmonds-Woodway (2-0, 5-0). E-W scored five runs in the third inning. Michael Mazza led Cascade (0-2, 0-5), going 3-for-3 with a double.
