Prep softball: Lakewood 12, Coupeville 4

MARYSVILLE — Allison Rosenbauch and Kiana Smith each drove in a pair of runs in an eight-run third inning as Lakewood came from behind in the Cascade Conference game. With their team behind 3-0, Rosenbauch hit a two-run double and Smith had a two-run single for the Cougars (2-1 league, 3-1 overall). Maddie Holmes went 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBI for Lakewood. It was Coupeville first game of the season.
