EVERETT — Kevaughn Umayam, a freshman, pitched a complete game while holding Jackson to just two runs on five hits, sending the Timberwolves to their first league loss of the season. Umayam (2-0) also struck out five and walked one. The Marauders scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh as Jordan Garneau hit a leadoff-double and then came home on an error. Sam Brown batted 2-for-3 to lead Jackson.
