EDMONDS — The teams battled rain and hail that blanketed the field, but Bogdan Nikitov broke through the storm and scored in the 63rd minute on an assist from Miguel Medina to give Mariner (11-3 league, 13-3 overall) the Wesco South victory. Tony Curulla recorded the clean sheet in goal and Erik Whitney manned the nets for Edmonds-Woodway (5-8, 5-9-1).
