A lawsuit accuses the furniture rental chain Aaron’s Inc. of installing software on their rental computers that secretly tracks customers’ keystrokes and even takes their photos.

If the allegations are true, we can only assume Aaron’s has amassed an extensive database of resumes, cover letters and candid photos of job-seekers grimacing over turn-down e-mails.

Insanely something: Apple has rolled out a new line of iMac desktop PCs that, among other features, boasts an improved high-resolution camera.

The units start at $1,200, so The Buzz won’t be buying one anytime soon. But perhaps that fancy new camera will tempt the bosses at Aaron’s Inc.

What’s in a name: The staff director for the Senate Indian Affairs Committee objects to the U.S. military’s use of the code name “Geronimo” for Osama bin Laden. Loretta Tuell says it’s wrong to link a respected Native American leader with a terrorist and mass murderer.

The Buzz agrees. Unfortunately, every single one of the most appropriate code names for bin Laden can’t be published in the newspaper.
