EVERETT — Shorecrest jumped out to a 6-0 lead by the end of the third inning, extended it to a 7-1 lead and held on to clinch the Wesco 3A’s sixth and last District 1 playoff spot. Everett senior Lucas Sontra. Sontra finished 2-for-3 with a solo homer in the fourth inning. Michael Rigby batted 2-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored to lead the Scots.
