You gotta love this guy

Regarding the Wednesday article, “Charlie Sheen at the top of his #$@% game in Everett“:

Detroit may not have liked Charlie Sheen but that was their problem! Everett loved him! He captured our hearts when he walked on the stage wearing a Mariner’s shirt. The audience was terrific. Chants of “We love you, Charlie” could be heard throughout the show. I was so proud of the response that was given to him. He was right on when he said that he crowd was awesome! Go Charlie!

I am a 75, almost 76-year-old grandma, great-grandma and in June will be a great-great grandma. My daughter, age 51, her boyfriend, also 51, my 47 year-old-daughter and myself are all huge fans of Charlie. We all bought tickets to see his performance. I’ll admit, most of the crowd seemed a lot younger than me but I have never been told that I was senile or acted childish, at least to my face. I am usually in bed by 8:05 each evening after watching reruns of “Two and a Half Men.” The show didn’t let out until 10:30 and I could have easily sat through another performance.

Charlie was very appreciative and gracious of the crowd’s enthusiasm. It was very touching when he took off his Mariner’s shirt and gave it to a sweet 84-year-old fan! If anyone walked out during the show, they shouldn’t have bought tickets in the first place! I totally agree with Marc Malkin: “If you’re walking out of a Charlie Sheen show, you’re a schmuck!”
