Prep boys soccer: Shorecrest 1, Meadowdale 0

SHORELINE — Shorecrest’s Callum Wijelath scored the only goal of the loser-out 3A District 1 playoff game in the 39th minute. After a Meadowdale defensman popped the ball up near the goal, Wijelath headed the ball in the net from the back post. Sam Schober had the shutout in goal for Shorecrest (16-1 overall). Meadowdale ends its season at 7-10. Shorecrest will play either Mount Vernon or Everett on Tuesday.
