Story time

President Barack Obama’s sister has published a picture book for small children called “Ladder to the Moon.” . In it, a girl and her grandmother take a nighttime dream journey to the moon, where they invite people in trouble to join them in a circle of compassion.

This isn’t a story of complete acceptance and inclusivity, however. The girl and her grandmother shun a certain tall bearded Saudi man who had just been awoken in the middle of the night by helicopters over his house.

Big box: An art gallery is holding a contest in which participants are asked to visualize Everett, then draw what they see in their mind’s eye.

The gallery owners say nonartists are welcome to enter the contest. That makes sense, since the new Providence hospital tower is pretty easy to draw.

Fail to plan: Entrepreneurs need a plan for not only operating their new business but an exit strategy for when it’s time to move on, say columnists and Everett Community College faculty Pat Sisneros and Juergen Kneifel.

The Buzz can write that plan in seconds: Google “Chapter 7, Title 11, United States Code,” copy all, paste into a Word document, save and print. Done.
