Who tries to steal trees?
Apparently, someone in Mukilteo.
An unknown person yanked out two juniper trees from someone’s yard near a sewer district lift station, Mukilteo police officer Cheol Kang said.
They apparently tried to drag the trees off but were unsuccessful, according to the blotters.
Kang couldn’t say if it was an outright theft or some other sort of mischief.
The trees were valued at $50, he said. The case remains under investigation by Mukilteo police.
