Because of budget problems, the state is curtailing roadside litter collection.
This will surely mean more unsightly garbage along the state’s highways and byways, but there’s an upside, as well: lots more cans for jobless folks to collect and sell to scrap dealers.
But I need it: We’re informed that mobile technology — wireless phone upgrades, tablet PCs and the like — is the hot back-to-school gotta-have.
If so, then The Buzz predicts the very next hot trend after that will be parents asking their kids just how they managed to lose that expensive gadget, or forget it on the bus, or drop it in a mud puddle, or loan it to that irresponsible neighbor kid.
