Hockey season is upon us. What say you? (updated with times)

We’ve arrived at the opening week of hockey season. The Silvertips open their training camp this week, with the players officially reporting Wednesday and on-ice sessions beginning Thursday. I haven’t received a schedule foir the scrimmages, but I’m sure there will be morning and afternoon sessions

on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the annual Green vs. Grey game on Sunday. Training camp moves back to Comcast Arena this year after being detoured to Lynnwood Ice Center last year, and if things remain the same it will be open to the public free of charge.

So with that in mind, I thought I’d open the floor to the readers. I want to know what you’re looking forward to most this season with the Silvertips. I’ll get the ball rolling. I’m looking forward to finding out what kind of style new head coach Mark Ferner is going to implement with the team. What about you? Share your thoughts in the comments section.

— UPDATE, 11:15 a.m.

I now have the times for the training camp sessions. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday the morning sessions are from 9-11:45 a.m. and from 2:30-5:15 p.m. Sunday’s Green vs. White game (they keep changing the color on me) is Sunday at 1 p.m. The doors open to the public 15 minutes before each session, then 30 minutes before the Green vs. White game.

And just so you know, I do plan on live blogging from training camp again this year.
