Think Tupperware parties went out of favor sometime during the Carter administration? Think again — the company says they’re more popular than ever.
The company says a Tupperware party takes place somewhere in the world every 1.7 seconds — accompanied by a corresponding number of husbands drinking beer and smoking cigars in the garage.
Perfectly melted: The entrepreneur behind the Flip Video camera has launched a new enterprise: a chain of fast-food restaurants that specialize in grilled-cheese sandwiches.
He’s commissioned the design and manufacture of machines that enable workers to turn out perfect sandwiches every time — in other words, a robot version of his mother.
Better mousetraps: “Quirky,” yet another reality TV series, launches Tuesday night on the Sundance Channel. This one follows inventors who submit ideas for new products, such as a pasta bowl that doubles as a strainer.
The Buzz is not sure the world needs a new kind of pasta bowl, but we sure would like to see some new ideas for cheap-to-produce TV programming. How about it, inventors?
