Prep girls soccer: Marysville Pilchuck 3, Arlington 1

ARLINGTON — Mikayla Wright and Amanda Carr helped Marysville Pilchuck (1-2 league, 2-2 overall) jump out to a 2-0 lead and eventually prevail against Arlington. Wright scored in the 20th minute and Carr added another goal in the 31st for the 2-0 halftime lead. After Arlington’s (1-2, 2-2) Sadie Hitsky scored in the 42nd minute to trim the Hawks’ lead, Carr scored her second goal of the contest in the 78th to put it out of reach.
