SNOHOMISH — Filling in for usual starting quarterback David Linney, Chris Becerra threw for 227 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Grizzlies to the Wesco 3A win. “I thought Chris did a good job for starting on limited practice,” said Glacier Peak coach Rory Rosenbach. Becerra didn’t take snaps as the starter until Thursday when it became clear Linney wouldn’t play for violating school rules. It will be determined this week if Linney will play next week against Marysville Getchell. Sean Elledge caught four passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns and Alex Karabut carried the ball nine tiems for 89 yards and a score.
