SHORELINE — Bri Lasconia scored a late goal (76th minute) to break a 0-0 tie and clinch the Wesco 3A game for Shorecrest. The winning goal came off a free kick by Nickie Harris. Glacier Peak keeper Mackenzie Sezenants couldn’t hold on and dropped the ball just in front of Lasconia, who kicked it in from 5 yards. Prior to that it was a pretty even battle, both teams had a couple of shots on goal, but they were easy saves, said Shorecrest head coach Mindy Dalziel. Frida Swensen had the shutout. Shorcrest improved to 6-1-1 league, 6-1-1 overall, Glacier Peak fell to 5-2, 5-2.
