EVERETT — Kiana Hood had 16 kills in Danielle Marks’ first win as head coach of the Cascade Bruins. Mariner had 113 digs over five sets in the Wesco South loss (25-11, 28-26, 20-25, 15-25, 15-10). Other strong performances came from Cascade’s Megan Miller (18 assists) and Mariner’s Kristen Fowler (26 assists, 6 kills). Cascade moved to 1-3 league, 1-9 overall, while Mariner fell to 0-3, 1-8.
