Prep volleyball: Monroe 3, Lake Stevens 1

MONROE — Junior Melina Seabrook delivered 24 kills and teammate Kendal Munoz added 15 to go with 23 assists for Monroe which defeated Lake Stevens (3-2 league, 5-4 overall) in four sets by scores of 25-11, 25-23, 21-25 and 25-21. Also aiding the Bearcats (4-1, 7-2) with big contributions were Taylor Latimore with 22 assists and Kaitlin Lebon who had 19 digs and five aces. The Vikings were led by Cecelia Licciardi with 12 kills and Mckayla Huntley who added 11 kills.
