New volleyball coaches’ poll

Published 12:35 pm Tuesday, October 11, 2011

Here’s the newest Washington State Coaches Association coaches’ poll. There’s some movement among local teams with Jackson moving down from No. 2 to 4 and Monroe moving out of the poll all together. Kamiak will likely slide out of the top 10 after losing last night to the Timberwolves.

In 3A, Meadowdale moved down to No. 7 from 4 after Glacier Peak beat the Mavs in five sets. Meadowdale did get two big wins after that, though, beating Oak Harbor and Everett.

King’s moved from a tie for No. 1 with Chelan to No. 3 despite two sweeps last week over Lakewood and Sultan. Also Darrington (4-0 league, 8-1 overall) snuck into the No. 8 spot in the 2B poll.
