Prep girls soccer: Lakewood 2, South Whidbey 0

LANGLEY — Taylor Studzinski and Julia Evans scored goals to lift Lakewood past South Whidbey (3-7 league, 4-7 overall) in a Cascade Conference match. Studzinski got on the board in the sixth minute and Julia Evans added a late first-half goal in the 30th minute. Keeper Miranda Head had one save in the Cougars’ (7-3, 8-3-1) shutout win.
