Prep girls soccer: Marysville Pilchuck 7, Mariner 0

MARYSVILLE — Melissa Schuetze and Kendahl Beecher combined in goal for the shutout as well as scoring a goal apiece for Marysville Pilchuck in a Wesco 4A game. Mariner had only 10 players and, after the first goal, the Tomahawks reduced their on-field presence to 10 as well. The goal by Beecher came around the 20-minute mark and the halftime score was 4-0. Additional goal scorers were: Sarah Tuemmler, Courtney Coombs, Carley Moberg, Tiffany Franks and Lauren Nolte. Marysville moved to 3-7 league, 4-7 overall while Mariner dropped to 0-9, 0-11.
