Tarvaris Jackson and Max Unger doubtful for Sunday. Zach Miller ruled out

For the third straight practice, Charlie Whitehurst took the reps as the Seahawks starting quarterback, while Tarvaris Jackson was limited in what he could do. As such, it comes as no surprise that Jackson is listed as doubtful, meaning Whitehurst will likely get the start.
“We prepared all week long to get Charlie ready to start and that’s what we’re thinking right now,” Pete Carroll said. “But we’re going to still see what Tarvaris does. He threw well yesterday and feels OK today. We’ll go all the way up to game time to see where he is, but we’ve prepared Charlie and we’re ready to do that.”
After a rocky start, Whitehurst played well in relief of Jackson in Seattle’s last game, and after having two weeks to prepare for Sunday’s game in Cleveland, the hope is that the offense can keep up the momentum it had, even with a new quarterback under center.
Also listed as doubtful is center Max Unger, who didn’t practice all week because of a foot injury. Carroll said there is a chance he Unger could play, but expect to see Lemuel Jeanpierre get his first career start at center. Rookie right guard John Moffitt also worked some at center this week, and would serve as the backup should Jeanpierre get hurt.
Tight end Zach Miller, who suffered a concussion and neck injury against the Giants, has been ruled out.
With Miller injured, Seattle will almost certainly add a tight end to its active roster before the game. The two most likely candidates are Cameron Morrah, who missed the first six weeks on the physically unable to perform list, and John Nalbone, who is currently on the practice squad. As of now, Anthony McCoy is the only healthy tight end on the active roster.
Left guard Robert Gallery, who has missed three games following groin surgery, got through the week well and will start, Carroll said.
