ENGAGEMENT

Hibma-Emerson

Calaise Hibma and Michael Emerson and planning to get married in the spring.

Hibma, 25, of Everett, and Emerson, 26, of Mukilteo, met on a blind date and have been together for more than six years.

The bride-to-be works at Nordstrom, and her fiance works at Starbucks.

Hibma is a Jackson High School graduate.

Emerson is a Kamiak High School alum. Both studied at Cascadia Community College.

He proposed on a trip to Leavenworth last winter.

The wedding is planned for April 28 in Spokane.
