Lewis-McChord Stryker brigade arrives in Afghanistan

JOINT BASE LEWIS MCCHORD — The 3rd Stryker Brigade from Joint Base Lewis-McChord has arrived in southern Afghanistan.
The News Tribune reports some soldiers started sending images home this week over Facebook.
The 2,500 soldiers are on a year-long deployment to hold security gains against the Taliban, mostly in Kandahar Province.
