Woodinville surges by Mariner

EVERETT — Woodinville pulled away from a first-quarter tie to build a 15-point halftime lead en route to a 63-42 win in a nonleague boys basketball game Friday night at Mariner High School.
Woodinville outscored Mariner 21-6 in the second period.
Tommy Wick paced the Falcons with a game-high 19 points. Teammate Robbie Jackson contributed 12.
Byek Tutlam led Mariner with 15 points. Andre Haghgoo and Ricky Tum each scored seven for the Marauders.
