3 suspected gang members held after assault in Monroe

MONROE — Three suspected gang members were arrested this week after they reportedly attacked a teenager and broke his ankle in Monroe.

The assault reportedly took place about 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 18400 block of Blueberry Lane SE, according to a police affidavit.

Police later contacted the victim, 16, who was standing on crutches, with numerous cuts and bruises.

The three alleged attackers were being held Thursday at Snohomish County Jail. All three made an initial appearance in Everett District Court. Two are 18, and one is 20.
