Criticism totally unwarranted

God bless the writer of the letter, “Whitney Houston: Let’s celebrate her radiant light.” Thank you for setting the record straight about Whitney and others.

I read with mixed emotions the letter the writer was replying to. (“Celebrity culture isn’t a treasure.”) That writer has taken us back to Little Rock 50 years ago and has taken a swat at race relations with a totally unwarranted diatribe.

Whitney was and always will be an idol of American music with her faultless singing and acting ability.

The aforementioned letter smacks of hate and misunderstanding. I can only wonder what monkey the writer has crawling up her back to exhibit such thoughtless disregard for a mother with a broken heart. And what about the daughter? Does she have your blessing?
