LAKE STEVENS – Join the Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday for an educational Business Insurance Class presented by Susan Creswell with American Family Insurance.
Susan Creswell, LUTCF, is the owner of the American Family Insurance agency in Lake Stevens. She has been in the insurance industry for 20 years. Most of that time has been spent as an agent, although she did spend several years training agents, as well as doing consulting work with other agents in the industry.
Contrary to popular belief, price is not the most important thing when making an insurance buying decision. It is critical to have an agent that will sit down with you face to face on an annual basis to review all of your needs. Whether your business is big or small it is of great importance to keep your operation running safely and smoothly. Small-business insurance is especially important for those companies that cannot afford a major setback.
When you get right down to it, a business insurance policy can protect you in a variety of ways. Not only can a business policy protect you against fires, theft and from someone suing you should an accident occur, it can also be set up to protect the company in case of the untimely death or disability of the owner and/or key employees. Having your business properly insured provides peace of mind to business owners.
