Vandals ruled out in chipped-paint case

This just in from the Mukilteo Police Department blotter:

A suspicious incident was reported Tuesday in the 9700 block of Marine View Drive. “R/P (reporting party) reported that the community mail box had paint chipping off of it. It was unknown what was causing it and it did not appear to have been vandalized.”
