Life with mental illness

The Snohomish County Affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness is offering a free program to family members and friends of children who are living with a mental illness, including major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, panic and obsessive compulsive disorders, and co-occurring brain and addictive disorders.

This series of six weekly classes helps caregivers understand and support children and adolescents with serious mental illness while maintaining their own well-being.

Classes are from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Everett and start on April 12. Registration is required.
