Prep softball: Jackson 20, Edmonds-Woodway 9 (5)

EDMONDS — Jackson had 20 hits to compliment its 20 runs in the Wesco South game. The Timberwolves’ Megan Cooley was 3-for-3 with two triples, Kayla Ellis was 3-for-4 with a double and four runs and Molly McCall was 3-for-5 with five RBI and a double. Edmonds-Woodway’s Sydney Daniel was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs. Michelle Rumpel and Kaylie Whitmore were each 2-for-3 with two RBI for the Warriors, who totaled 11 hits.
