Prep girls golf: 3A Northwest District tournament

BELLINGHAM — Shorewood’s Cassie McKinley followed up her 75 on Tuesday with a 76 on Wednesday to take home medalist honors at the 3A Northwest District Tournament at Lake Padden Golf Course.
Everett’s Jody Barhanovich was also consistent, shooting an 84 on Wednesday, one stroke better than what she posted on Tuesday, to place second. The top 15 golfers advance to the 3A state tournament, which will be next Tuesday and Wednesday in Spokane.
